Clinical Psychology and Intervention Science

The Division of Clinical Psychology and Intervention Science focuses on a continuum of human existence that extends from pathology to well-being. The research of this division seeks to understand the conditions that potentiate pathology and promote well-being. We target the full continuum between languishing and flourishing, with the goal of isolating functional principles that apply to both. Towards this end, we are interested in principles that link basic and applied science and we use methods including randomized clinical trials, event sampling methodology (via^smart technologies), laboratory experiments, questionnaire development, and conceptual work.
