Farewell to Dr. Gökçen Aydin

We say goodbye to our visiting researcher Dr. Gökçen Aydin with one laughing and one crying eye. Ms. Aydin enriched our research group since March 2022, for which we are extremely grateful. We will miss her very much and wish her all the best for her new position as a professor at Hasan Kalyoncu University.

Promotion of Dr. phil. Victoria Block

Our team congratulates Dr. phil. Victoria «Vicky» Block on her promotion and we thank her for her outstanding performance and great commitment, both in the field of research and in the fostering of social cohesion during these extraordinary times. Mrs. Block is currently attending the newly launched MAS in Process-based Psychotherapy at our faculty and will soon begin her therapy activities as an assistant psychologist at the Sonnenhalde Clinic. Our team congratulates Dr. phil. Marcia Theresa Benerice Rinner for her promotion and we thank her for her excellent performance and great commitment in the field of research. Prof. Andrew Gloster elected President-Elect of the ACBS

Prof. Andrew Gloster has been elected President-Elect of the Association for Contextual Behavorial Science for 2022. He is expected to assume the presidency of this international organization, which is represented in over 100 countries with 9,200 members, in 2024. Thematically, the ACBS is dedicated to alleviating human suffering and promoting well-being through focused research and psychotherapeutic practice in the field of contextual behavioral science. Members include researchers, educators, and practitioners who advocate for dynamic interaction between basic and applied research, drawing on contextual behavioral sciences. more

ACBS Junior Investigator Award

Noemi Walder, a Masters in Clinical Psychology at the University of Basel and a member of the Department of Clinical Psychology and Intervention Science, was awarded 'ACBS Junior Investigator Poster Award' as part of the annual congress of the Association for Contextual Behavior Science (ACBS). The exhibition of the posters as well as the ceremony took place in the traditional St. Patricks Cathedral in Dublin. We congratulate Noemi for this achievement! more
