I studied psychology at the University of Mannheim and the Ludwig-Maximilian-University Munich. In 2019, I completed my PhD at the University of Mannheim, and from 2020 to 2023, I worked as a postdoctoral and as a senior research associate for psychological methods at the Department of Psychology of the University of Zurich. During that time, I was also part of the leadership team of the Section Methodology and Evaluation of the German Psychological Society, and started to be engaged in fostering gender equality in our research community.

My research program comprises psychometric modeling, machine learning methods and the modeling of multilevel data. Herein, I develop and evaluate new statistical  and machine learning methods. I hope that my research will facilitate the optimal analysis of multivariate data in psychological research.
