Study participation
The Faculty of Psychology conducts scientific studies on an ongoing basis. Students can participate in these studies if they fulfil the inclusion criteria. The studies offered are generally approved by an ethics committee or similar body.
Participation in psychological examinations leads to the acquisition of one credit point, which can be earned over a total of 60 examination units of 30 minutes each. The administration of the study units, such as registration for the study, is carried out exclusively digitally. Researchers at the Faculty of Psychology use the online database BAPS for this purpose.
After successfully completing the 60 study units, students can download confirmation of the hours worked from BAPS. To do this, click on the number of examination units (Signature Overview) on BAPS. This opens a new view where a forgery-proof document (download) can be downloaded. This document is submitted digitally to the Dean of Studies Office by e-mail with the subject ‘BAPS-KP’.
Credit points for participation in the psychological experiments are awarded at the end of each semester. The credit point is only entered in Online Services after successfully passing the propaedeutic exams.
