The Faculty of Psychology is committed to scientifically grounded psychology in research and teaching, with the overarching goal of improving human well-being. It understands humans as complex bio-psycho-social beings who develop, act, and help shape various life and work environments.

The Faculty of Psychology promotes and initiates new scientific methods to study these processes in basic research as well as in practical and clinical applications. It possesses strong research competencies and advocates for transdisciplinary research projects, particularly in collaboration with various departments of the medical and economic faculties.
