In the M.Sc. project or M.Sc. thesis, you will be integrated into the "Statistics & Data Science" department. You will work with us on our research topics, for example you will conduct a pilot study in one of our research projects. You can find more information about our research areas here.

• Impact of multicollinearity on the behavior of machine learning models
• Impact of down- vs. upsampling on machine learning results
• Impact of cluster-based vs. individual tuning strategies for the application of machine learning methods for multilevel data
• False conclusions in variable selection when a large number of predictors are included in the model
• Opportunities and risks of using large-language models when coding articles in meta-analyses
