Since ist establishment in 2003, the Faculty of Psychology has positioned itself as a nationally and internationally recognized institution for both research and studies. On the whole, the faculty concentrates on research areas that are equally scientifically and socially relevant. These research areas underpin our award-winning teaching programmes and our attractive range of continuing education and public-service offerings. We strive for excellent, internationally competitive research and place the utmost importance on the active support of our early-career researchers. Our academic self-administration is transparent and participatory, and we design our processes and decisions to be equitable, diversity-sensitive, and sustainable. Moreover, we foster a collaborative and appreciative working climate. This self-understanding and these values form the basis of our success, which is manifested in high-ranking and widely cited publications, substantial (or impressive) acquisition of third-party funding, successful career paths of our junior researchers both at home and abroad, continuously rising student enrolments, and strong positions in national and international rankings.
