On March 12, 2026, the inaugural lecture by Prof. Dr. Jelena Zumbach-Basu took place at the Alte Universität in Basel. Following a brief introduction by the Dean, Prof. Dr. Rainer Greifeneder, she gave an engaging and multifaceted lecture on the topic “When predictions fall short: Evidence over Intuition in Forensic Psychology.”

The audience gained a comprehensive insight into the current research projects and areas of focus of Prof. Dr. Jelena Zumbach-Basu and her research group.
