The Faculty of Psychology congratulates Prof. Dr Florian Lange on his appointment as Associate Professor of Sustainability and Behaviour Change with effect from September 1, 2026.
Florian Lange’s research focuses on how interventions can promote environmentally friendly behaviour in everyday life. He employs experimental and practice-oriented approaches, such as field experiments aimed at reducing meat consumption or encouraging energy-saving behaviour.
Florian Lange is Junior Professor of Environmental Psychology at Zeppelin University. After studying psychology at the Technical University of Braunschweig and completing his PhD in cognitive neuropsychology at Hannover Medical School, Florian Lange worked as a postdoctoral researcher, research manager and senior researcher at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in Belgium. During this time, he published over 100 articles in scientific journals and is co-editor of the two journals «Environmental Psychology Open» and «Global Environmental Psychology».
