Storage and archiving

Our faculty-owned research data repository provides secure and effective management of research data:

Enables the storage and management of data collected, generated or used as part of research projects.
Enables the sharing of data within research groups and facilitates the exchange of data between researchers.
Provides access at research group level, definable by the research group itself.
Can provide functions for data analysis and processing as it can be connected directly to our VM infrastructure.
The data on the active research data storage usually remains there for between 1 and 10 years. After that - if no longer actively used - they can be archived.

Note: every person with a faculty account has a personal research data storage (instructions for connecting). This is the same as your own username.

The IT department of the Faculty of Psychology offers the archiving of data (records) on tape:

For completed data (sets) that can be reused for further (internal) projects.
Tape archiving provides a secure and stable storage environment for long-term archiving and protection of this data.
