Since February 2026, I have been a postdoctoral researcher at the Center of Digital Lives. My research focuses on digital disconnection as a way to support digital well-being. Drawing on my background in health psychology and my experience at the Human-Computer Interaction Lab at the University of Melbourne, I investigate when, why, and for whom digital disconnection can be effective. In my work, I combine psychological theories of behavior change with mobile sensing methods to better understand how people can develop healthier smartphone and social media habits. I am particularly interested in how we can best support individuals in finding a healthy balance between the benefits and challenges of mobile connectivity.
