1. Application dossier

   The following documents must be submitted by the current application periods (to info-seed@clutterunibas.ch):

   • Doctorate application form (please sign and scan in
   • CV
   • Statement of motivation (max. 1 A4 page)
   • Description of previous research experience with research interests (max. 2 A4 pages) and pdfs of peer-reviewed articles if available.
   • Copy of all university diplomas and relevant employment references
   • Additionally for the doctorate with specialized training: Details of current or future work activity (see application form)
     
2. Admission interview: Potential candidates will be invited to an interview approximately one month after submitting their application.
   
3. After definitive admission to the doctoral program, matriculation and online applications will take place. Further information on doctoral studies at the University of Basel can be found in the guidelines and in the documents.

Approximately 5 doctoral study places are offered each year.
