Graduate School of Psychology
The Graduate School of Psychology (GSP) designs and coordinates the educational program for PhD-students at the Department of Psychology. The GSP's main goal is to support and advance the PhD-students' academic development and their scientific careers. The training program of the GSP is tailored to the academic needs of the PhD-students and is matched with the department's standards of excellence.
Organizational structure
The GSP was formally established in 2019. All PhD-students are members of the GSP.
Executive board:
- Chair and Dean of Research (ex officio; term 02/2024-01/2026: Rui Mata)
- Chairs of the specialized departmental doctoral programs (currently Jens Gaab, HI-PSY; Alexander Grob, SEED; Rui Mata (represented by Mirka Henninger during his term as Dean of Research), SC-PSY)
- PhD-student (suggested by PhD-students; term 07/2025-06/2027: Aline Dietsche)
- Coordination GSP (ex officio; advisory vote only: Angela Leipold)
- Coordinator Doctoral progams (ex officio; advisory vote only; currently Antje Frey Nascimento and Helene Seaward, HI-PSY; Angela Leipold, SC-PSY)
Tasks Coordination:
- Supporting the executive board
- Planning/coordinating/organizing the educational program
- Administrative support
- NOT: Administrative tasks associated with individual PhD candidates
