Networks and Partnerships

The University of Basel works closely with prominent research institutes in Switzerland and abroad. On the basis of its international identity, the university invests in European and international partnerships, research projects and partnership-oriented initiatives. In addition to university-wide partnerships, the focus in this area is on bilateral collaboration in research groups or study programs.

Bernoulli Network for the Behavioral Sciences

The Bernoulli Network for the Behavioral Sciences is a joint initiative of the Faculty of Psychology and the Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Basel, with the aim of fostering interdisciplinary dialogue in the behavioral sciences. The initiative honours the polymath Daniel Bernoulli (1700-1782) who contributed greatly to conceptions of probability and risk that are central to Psychology, Economics, and related disciplines.

Basel Behavioral Research Center

The Basel Behavioral Research Center (BBRC) at the University of Basel is a joint behavioural laboratory of the Faculty of Psychology and the Chair of Marketing at the Faculty of Economics. The lab is centrally located and easy to reach for students.

Alumni Psychology

AlumniPsychologie was founded in 2011 as a section of Alumni Basel - the alumni network of the University of Basel. Its objective is to network the psychologists of Basel, to facilitate interesting exchanges and to create opportunities to keep one's knowledge up to date and to broaden it. Our activities include lectures, presence at the faculty's graduation ceremony, and events in a relaxed atmosphere such as our barbecue.
