The Master’s Colloquium provides a structured platform for students to present and discuss their ongoing Master’s thesis projects. It brings together students and researchers from clinical psychology, psychotherapy research, and related disciplines, with a particular interest in innovative and digital approaches to psychological research and intervention.
Through regular presentations and discussions, students receive constructive feedback on their research questions, study designs, methodologies, analyses, and interpretation of findings. The colloquium supports the development of independent scientific reasoning, methodological competence, and clear scientific communication.
Students gain insight into a broad range of research approaches, including digital technologies, novel intervention formats, and translational research methods. Particular emphasis is placed on connecting fundamental and applied research and on considering how empirical findings can contribute to the development, evaluation, and improvement of psychological interventions and clinical practice.
By actively engaging with their own and their peers’ projects, students refine their research skills, exchange perspectives across projects and disciplines, and contribute to an open and innovative research environment.
