Master Project - Psychology of Sustainability and Behavior Change

Your master thesis, master project, and colloquium are integral to your academic journey, collectively accounting for 45 credit points. Spanning three consecutive semesters, your project will be the cornerstone of the SED master program, shaping your academic and methodological trajectory. Here, we provide you with information about your master's thesis and its associated project at the Center for Psychology of Sustainability and Behavior Change.

At the beginning of your master studies, you decide on a master project. To see what projects we offer at the moment, have a look at Mastermatch.

The timeline below gives you a rough idea of the structure of the master project within the PSBC lab.

In the first weeks of the semester we start with input sessions for all new master students who are part of the PSBC master project. In the first session we provide you with general information about the project and the timeline for the following four semesters. In a second input session, we will work together on a better understanding of the principles of Open Science and you will learn how to apply these principles to your research.

In addition to our meetings with the whole groups, there will be individually scheduled meetings with your supervisors.

During the first three semesters of your master, you attend our bi-weekly colloquium sessions. In these sessions, we delve into current topics related to sustainability and behavior change. You will also have the opportunity to present your research: at the beginning of the second semester and at the end of the third semester.
