Mart van der Kam is working as a postdoc on human-centered energy modeling within the SWEET CoSi project (Co-Evolution and Coordinated Simulation of the Swiss Energy System and Swiss Society).

Mart did his PhD at the Copernicus Institute of Sustainable Development at Utrecht University. Before joining the PSBC Lab, Mart held research positions at the Technology, Innovation, & Society group at Eindhoven University of Technology and the Energy Efficiency group at the University of Geneva.

His main research interests are the role of users in the energy transition, linking social simulation and energy systems modelling, and smart electric vehicle charging/vehicle-to-grid.
