Since February 2023, I am postdoctoral reseacher in the Centre for Social Psychology at the University of Basel, Switzerland.
I have studied psychology at the University of Ulm, Germany, and was a visiting student researcher at the University of California, Berkeley, in 2018. From 2019 to 2023, I have done my PhD at the University of Basel, investigating factors that shape people's experiences of social exclusion.
My research mainly focuses on social exclusion, but I also have a strong interest in motivated cognition, ideology and political polarization.
