SNF-Eccellenza: Nächste Deadline 1. Februar 2021
Die nächste Deadline für das SNF-Instrument „Eccellenza“ ist der 1. Februar 2021. Eccellenza Professorial Fellowships richten sich an hoch qualifizierte junge Forschende (3-8 Jahre seit Erlangen des Doktorats*) die eine Professur anstreben. (*Referenzdatum ist die Verteidigung der Dissertation)
Interner Prozess für die Antragstellung / Unterstützungsbriefe
Wie bereits im letzten Jahr verlangt der SNF einen Unterstützungsbrief der jeweiligen Departementsleitung.
• Templates für Eccellenza Fellowships auf Deutsch und Englisch.
Bitte senden Sie bis zum 15. Januar 2021 einen Scan des unterzeichneten Briefes an das Grants Office. Es werden dann die erforderliche Bestätigung des Vizerektorats ausgestellt und den Antragstellenden zugesandt.
Der Eintrag im Grants Tool muss ebenfalls bis zum 15. Januar 2021 erfolgen. Unter Calculator => SNF Projekt => Eccellenza steht eine Kalkulator für die Budgetierung zur Verfügung. Externe Antragstellende können sich für einen Account direkt an uns wenden.

The next deadline for the SNF instrument "Eccellenza" is 1st February 2021. Eccellenza Professorial Fellowships are for highly qualified young researchers (with 3-8 years post PhD experience*) aiming for a professorship. (*Reference date is the defense of the doctoral thesis)
Internal Process / Letter of Support
As was the case last year, the SNF requests a letter of support from the head of the respective department.
• Templates for Eccellenza Fellowships in German and English.
Please send a scan of the signed letter by 15th January 2021 to the Grants Office. The required confirmation from the Vice President for Research will then be issued and send to the applicant.
A Grants Tool entry should also be completed by 15th January. Under Calculator => SNF Project => Eccellenza, a calculator for budgeting the project costs is available. External applicants can contact us directly for an account.
